Chiefs Beat Chargers in OT to Create Three Way Tie for AFC West

After Monday nights Halloween matchup between AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Chargers, the AFC West now has a three way tie for first place between the Raiders, Chargers, and Chiefs. But during Monday Night Football, the Chiefs looked a lot different than they did early on in the season when they were embarrassed in the first two weeks of the season. Since then, Jackie Battle has emerged as a suitable replacement for the injured Charles, and the defense has been playing lights out and they are forcing turnovers like crazy. The key to this victory was the fumble by Rivers with only minutes left when the Chargers were in field goal range. It forced the game into overtime, and the Chiefs didn’t even give them a chance.

Next week the Chiefs host the winless Dolphins. It will be a great opportunity for the Chiefs to try to pull ahead and/or maintain first place in the division. Keep reading this Kansas City Chiefs blog for all the relevant Chiefs news you need to know.
