What to Expect With Chiefs VS Raiders

The Chiefs are heading into Oakland this Sunday with a record of 10-3. After a big win over the Redskins in week 14, the Chiefs look to get hot with another win over the Raiders. With a loss of the Denver Broncos on Thursday, the Chiefs have another shot at a division title and a number one seed in the playoffs. If they want a shot at that number one seed in the playoffs they need the Broncos to lose one of their final two games and the Chiefs to win the rest of there games. Enough of playoff talk lets get to whats on hand this Sunday in Oakland. jamaal_Charles

Yet, another week the Chiefs go up against a backup quarterback. The Raiders announced earlier in the week that Matt McGloin would be the starter against the tough Chiefs defense. The Chiefs have been used to this from earlier in the season and another game against the struggling Raiders they should be the favorite in this game. The Chiefs look to get back healthy with many key players out against Oakland. Brandon Albert, Justin Houston, and Anthony Fasano are all inactive for this game. Dexter McCluster is also questionable, and will be a game time decision.

One thing the Chiefs need to do right off the bat is get the run game going fast. If they can set up the run the pass game will continue to show that it will turn out. The run game sets up many options for Andy Reid and set up for an offensive attack the Raiders will have a tough time to defend. The Chiefs have done a great job this season of just doing that and setting up the play-action pass. Jamaal Charles has been the main guy in the offense and I look for him to have a huge game Sunday. Charles got the whole 4th quarter last week off, due to a blowout in the score and so the Chiefs kept him fresh for this division game.

Lastly, a couple predictions for the game. One, Jamaal Charles will have a total of three touchdowns and rush for over 150 yards. He had a huge game last week and looks to do the same thing but more this week. Next, the defense is lacking a big player in Justin Houston, but they have showed they can compete without him and I look to see the D hold them to below 14 points.

My final prediction for this game is going to be a 32 to 13 Chiefs win.
