Several reports are now saying that Eric Berry is dealing with the dreaded high ankle sprain. No word on severity yet. Earlier in the day it was reported that the team was expecting to hear good news.
When it was first reported Berry was injured, it was very concerning considering the team did not add much depth behind him in the offseason. Then news came Ron Parker was starting in his place and Chiefs fans had flashbacks of Parker’s preseason performances. Yet some felt that Parker would have more success there than he had at the cornerback position.
After Sunday, it appears they were right. Parker held up very well against the Dolphins. Parker’s name was heard very few times during the game which is always good news. It looks like we’ll be finding out Monday whether that was a fluke.
