Week 11 Chiefs at Chargers

After the disaster of a loss in the home opener during week 2, many Chiefs fans would not have believed by week 11 there would be new life breathed into a team that had been on an embarrassing four week losing streak. Now after gaining confidence back against Pittsburgh, the Chiefs have won three in a row; which included the benching of Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

Today the Chiefs will continue to try and climb up the ranks in the AFT West while they take on San Diego at home with a 3:05pm cst kickoff. The Chargers are on a five game losing streak and they seem to be playing for draft picks. The Chiefs are now one game back of a playoff wildcard and battling with the passion they displayed during the preseason games.

There has been hope restored to Chiefs fans that this season isn’t over. We can keep battling and get into the postseason. Today’s week 11 game carries more weight that people would have originally expected. A win today will bring the Chiefs record back to .500 and bring even more momentum into a relatively weak remaining schedule.

The Chargers will be without offensive weapon Malcom Floyd and possible without Ladarius Green that is still listed as questionable for game day. While Chiefs are still missing Jamaal Charles, Charcandrick West has been a playmaker helping to keep the ball moving on the ground.

My prediction for today, Chiefs win 28-7.
